Inside, there is a bottle of Porto Ferreira Vintage 1815, accompanied by a book and a certificate of authenticity for this mythical Port wine. A 200-year lot made up of 5 exceptional Vintage Ports, as well as a new deluxe crystal and silver decanter model (very exclusive, totally engraved by national craftsmen and illustrated with the unique scenery of the Douro Valley Demarcated Region) were created with the same noble materials.

Black Mama is a special edition black IPA craft beer , created having in mind the holistic connection between the process of making the beer and the craft of designing the label for that beer, characterised by the belief that the parts are intimately interconnected and accounted only by reference to the whole. What\’s Unique? Most craft beer packaging has no soul, no craft, a poor image diminishes the laborious process of making the beer , the pride the brewer has when selling the beer is not reflected in the label, and a label can say a lot, and there´s always a lot to say, stories and passion that stop after the beer is made, a good label gives that passion and stories a visual impact.

For an exclusive business development event at the Houston Rodeo, we wanted to create a custom invitation suite that could sit alongside the existing Rottet Studio brand, which is elegant, contemporary, and visually clean, while translating the freewheeling spirit of the rodeo. To avoid the childish kitsch of many rodeo themes, we devised a playful yet practical alternative: a red cotton bandana conveying the details of this multi-venue event that guests could also wear to the rodeo itself. The resulting hand-drawn and hand-lettered design is both interactive, encouraging invitees to unfold and rotate the bandana, and also subtly branded, the swirling typography a nod to the company’s Texas roots. The careful combination of sans serif and rustic typefaces makes this design a tailored deviation from the firm’s standard brand guidelines. Preserving the signature Rottet Studio white and grey color palette, we selected red and tan accent colors to complement the various textural elements. Unfinished wood, recycled paper, and cotton lend an understated ruggedness to the invitations – they’re meant to be touched as much as they are read. The thank you cards feature a variation of the rope lettering, laser-cut onto grey walnut plaques. The smoky, seared typography on the thank you cards evokes traditional cattle branding irons used in the livestock trade. At the end of the night, guests received custom grey and white cowboy boot cookies with the thank you plaque, wrapped together with natural jute twine as a finishing touch.

Two different exhibitions at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. needed to be promoted through a single advertising campaign. With no celebrity artist to pull visitors, we drew on a common theme from both exhibitions to engage the “art buff” target: What is Natural? Eschewing conventional art exhibition advertising (which usually features a “representative” artwork from the show) we asserted that the exhibition was about an idea rather than any particular artwork. This required prioritizing the question over the art.

It seems that artists acknowledged this intent and all artists gave permission to use their works in this way without edits. The outdoor campaign got particular attention in the context of a generally staid DC museum advertising landscape, drawing significant attendance despite a very modest media buy. Survey data also showed the advertising as a key factor driving attendance.

The contents are mostly infographics-based and delivered in English, being the preferred language for communication. Presumably, this is due to the unique characteristic that defines what is Malaysian: the cultural mix – varied and colourful, yet essentially adaptive to change in the environment.
