Her passion for the intersection of design, technology and craft led her to art-direct several award-winning motion projects. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with MFA in Motion Media Design. Her professional work experience includes years of working as both freelancer and full-time designer. She has a love for cooking and hairdressing! In her free time, she also enjoys cooking Persian food and surprising friends with new hairstyles!

Vega Digital Awards Kick Off 2017 Call For Entries

Vega Digital Awards has Now Launched Its 2017 Season

One of International Awards Associates, Inc. (IAA) awards program – the Vega Digital Awards has now launched its 2017 season call for entries. Vega Digital Awards seeks to recognize and honors the outstanding performance, talent, and effort of the best digital and creative professionals, web developers, web designers and web agencies around the world. Deadline for entry is October 20, 2017.

For this edition of the awards competition, Vega Digital Awards is aiming to improve its program. We target to reach an unprecedented amount of people by introducing new features and categories. This year, Vega Digital Awards adds a total of 43 new categories for a more comprehensive view of digital creativity. The categories are expanding from 190 to 221 categories. In addition, new subcategories for websites, online videos, and mobile apps will help align with the burst of creativity occurring in advanced technology.

Invite to Work

New features such as the “Invite To Work” function targets to create and increase a positive change in the winners’ network and sales channel by allowing businesses and potential clients to connect with the winner with just a click of a button. A new payment gateway – AliPay has also been added to enhance the payment system. Vega has also established new partnership programs with Adobe. We also collaborating with new media partners such as Muse.World to share great winning artworks.

This year’s competition spans over a period of only three months – from August 1 – October 20, 2017. This  creating a shorter judging process with faster results announcement.

“We’re keeping our promise to the international creative community,” Kenjo Ong, President of IAA Global said. “Our last year’s competition received more than 1,100 entries. We recognized and rewarded tremendous creative work from 30 countries on six continents last year, and 2017 will be even better.”

The Vega Digital Awards are open to all digital media companies and organizations, regardless of size, from sole proprietors on up – and from everywhere on the globe. A small fee is required per entry, and is used to  produce, administer and judge the competition.

For Truett Cathy, life was always about people. He believed in making personal, and positive connections with the people he worked alongside. In 2012, the Chick-fil-A Foundation was established as the philanthropic arm of Chick-fil-A to continue Truett’s work of goodwill. Sotheby’s auctions this special edition in London last May. It is the most expensive Vintage ever auctioned in history. APELA (the Portuguese amyotrophic lateral sclerosis association) receives all of the proceeds. In fact, this auction confirms the solidarity of Sogrape Vinhos. It is the company that owns the Porto Ferreira brand, in line with the values and essence of the brand. Also, it shows deep social and charitable concerns since its origin, causes which the founder, Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira always advocates.

Black Mama is a special edition black IPA craft beer. As a whole, this product is a representation of a connection between the process of making the beer and the craft of the beer label design itself as a whole.  Its characteristics’ define upon the belief that the parts intimately interconnects and accounts only by reference to the whole. What’s Unique? Most craft beer packaging has no soul, no craft, and a poor image. Overall, this diminishes the tedious process of making the beer. Besides, it does not reflects the pride the brewer has when selling the beer.

A label, it can say a lot- stories and passion. After the crafting of the beer, all these disappears. For that, a good label gives that passion and stories a visual impact.

Black Mama says, yes this beer was crafted with work and thought behind it. People who like craft beer will understand and value it. Cheers to that!

Online Video | Twomanycreatives sweeps 2016 Vega Digital Awards

Introducing award-winning online video – Musician Mind-Reading produced by Twomanycreatives.

First, we invited the Ligeti Quartet to a special recording session. Each musician was fitted with a mindwave headset. Then, we converted their brainwaves into CVS data, that we used to visualise their thought patterns as they played.

The Brief

The Ligeti Quartet is probably the less classic classical quartet ever. The music they play (from György Ligeti) is quintessentially experimental and extremely complicated to perform.

The Idea

We made a music clip where we showed exactly how their music feels. By using simple off-the-shelf brainwave monitors, we’ve been able to read the brainwaves of the quartet as they play the track. We used those data and treated them as a beautiful visualisation of the performance.

For an exclusive business development event at the Houston Rodeo, we wanted to create a custom invitation card design that could sit alongside the existing Rottet Studio brand. The ideas are all about elegant, contemporary, and visually clean, while translating the freewheeling spirit of the rodeo.

Invitation Card Design | Rottet Studio wins 2017 Muse Creative Awards

To avoid the childish kitsch of many rodeo themes, we devised a playful yet practical alternative. A red cotton bandana conveying the details of this multi-venue event that guests could also wear to the rodeo itself. The resulting hand-drawn and hand-lettered design is both interactive. It encouraging invitees to unfold and rotate the bandana, and also subtly branded, the swirling typography a nod to the company’s Texas roots.

The careful combination of sans serif and rustic typefaces makes this design a tailored deviation from the firm’s standard brand guidelines. Thus, we selected red and tan accent colors to complement the various textural elements. The idea is to preserve the signature Rottet Studio white and grey color palette.

Unfinished wood, recycled paper, and cotton lend an understated ruggedness to the invitation.They’re meant to be touched as much as they are read. The thank you cards feature a variation of the rope lettering, laser-cut onto grey walnut plaques. Finally, the smoky, seared typography on the thank you cards evokes traditional cattle branding irons used in the livestock trade. At the end of the night, guests received custom grey and white cowboy boot cookies with the thank you plaque, wrapped together with natural jute twine as a finishing touch.

ART QUOTE is an app for selecting quotes from artist and designers. The project could be a service or gift for the art museum. Through this app, audiences can choose their favourite quotes. Then, users may edit the font base on their own preference. Finally, they could match the quote with a picture. Thus, a unique quote poster is produced.
