Upp B2B have grown. They used to be manufacturers of in-store retail display systems, frameworks, lighting and graphics. They are very good at this, but over time they have grown to be very good at the the concept and design element of this. Nevertheless,they don’t want to change who they are, though as Up B2B thinks that they have something special”. Over 3 months of market, business and customer research they unearthed that they do have something special, and that special something is helping creative agencies bring life and dynamism to their creative work.

Adding the third dimension to Unibox ideas, they redefined the brand positioning as a result of their insight. Unibox is now – the manufacturer with the agency brain’. This means they have a very new, very different audience. A renewed sense of purpose and a keen eye on the target. The rollout is ongoing. To date, they have redeveloped Unibox website, DM lookbooks, event stands, stationery, product catalogues, RFP and quoting documents, signage as well as hallmarking all of their physical, manufactured display systems.

Inside this totally handcrafted packaging is a bottle of Porto Ferreira Vintage 1815. Accompanying it is a book and a certificate of authenticity for this rarity.

Sotheby’s auctions this special edition in London last May. It is the most expensive Vintage ever auctioned in history. APELA (the Portuguese amyotrophic lateral sclerosis association) receives all of the proceeds. In fact, this auction confirms the solidarity of Sogrape Vinhos. It is the company that owns the Porto Ferreira brand, in line with the values and essence of the brand. Also, it shows deep social and charitable concerns since its origin, causes which the founder, Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira always advocates.

Muse Packaging Design Awards Winner – Black Mama Craft Beer Label Design

Black Mama is a special edition black IPA craft beer. As a whole, this product is a representation of a connection between the process of making the beer and the craft of the beer label design itself as a whole.  Its characteristics’ define upon the belief that the parts intimately interconnects and accounts only by reference to the whole. What’s Unique? Most craft beer packaging has no soul, no craft, and a poor image. Overall, this diminishes the tedious process of making the beer. Besides, it does not reflects the pride the brewer has when selling the beer.

A label, it can say a lot- stories and passion. After the crafting of the beer, all these disappears. For that, a good label gives that passion and stories a visual impact.

Black Mama says, yes this beer was crafted with work and thought behind it. People who like craft beer will understand and value it. Cheers to that!

Two different exhibitions at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. needs to be promoted through a single advertising campaign. With no celebrity artist to pull visitors, we drew on a common theme from both exhibitions to engage the “art buff” target: What is Natural? Avoiding conventional art exhibition advertising (which usually features a “representative” artwork from the show) we asserted that the exhibition was about an idea rather than any particular artwork. This required prioritizing the question over the art.

It seems that artists acknowledged this intent. In fat all artists gave permission to use their works in this way without edits. The outdoor campaign got particular attention in the context of a generally traditional DC museum advertising landscape. It draws significant attendance despite a very modest media buy. Survey data also showed advertising as an important factor in driving attendance.

Twisting strands from the Savoy’s illustrious history into a fascinating cocktail narrative, the menu takes guests on a tour of the hotel through its legendary tales and extraordinary guests from secret wartime speakeasies, rooftop tap-dancing to extravagant gondola parties.

One could also gaze upon luminaries such as Fred Astaire, Alfred Hitchcock, Katherine Hepburn and Tom Jones. Overall, the menu is made up of twenty cocktails, each with an individual double page spread illustration.

The “reverse” tunnel book format means that as one turns into each page, the following page will reveal another “layer” or historic Savoy narrative.
