The VR Concept
As the global issue of refugees increases, resistance to accepting them into western countries is escalating. A huge factor is the inability to truly empathize with people who have literally risked everything. What if war is in North America forcing you to flee with your family?
Canada’s unions creates this immersive virtual reality experience of a refugee’s journey, because they wanted Canadians to feel a deeper connection to the refugees they are welcoming. They also hope the people would have a better understanding of the challenges the refugees face.
